Greetings!
I'm writing to let you know about the Sonoma Bach Opening Gala Benefit concert. I have the great pleasure of singing once again with Live Baroque Orchestra - an incredible group of early music specialists. They never cease to thrill me when I hear them, and I get to sing some of the "greatest hits" of Purcell and Bach with them, including Music for Awhile, Strike the Viol, Bereite dich Zion, and a few more.
They will perform with their usual flair some of the great instrumental pieces from the same era - including Bach's great trio sonata from A Musical Offering. All of the musicians are "gifting" their performances so that the proceeds from this concert can go directly to Sonoma Bach who continues to bring such fantastic and varied musical offerings to our community.
So please come and have a drink of wine - taste some great cheeses - and enjoy the beautiful setting at Paradise Ridge Winery - and some great music while supporting this great organization.
Hope to see you there,
Chris
