Clerestory invites you to kick off your holiday season with Northern Lights, a Scandinavian choral Christmas celebration. From a traditional Lapland “yoik” to sonorous harmonies that evoke the serene chill of the Winter Solstice, Clerestory presents gorgeous tunes from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Finland to greet the season. This short (just over an hour!), sweet concert is full of melodies that will soothe the ear, warm the heart and perk up your spirits in time for the holiday whirlwind.
Please enjoy this video , in which we sing a verse of Jul, jul strĂ¥lande jul–the quintessential Swedish carol that is one of the highlights of the program. It will brighten our holidays to share this beautiful music with you.
Warm regards,
The Men of Clerestory
