Join Christopher Fritzsche and his colleagues in Clerestory, the acclaimed nine-man vocal ensemble, for a holiday program of favorite carols and contemporary songs from the British Isles. The concert will shine a spotlight on the grandeur and depth of traditional British Christmas songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Benjamin Britten, William Walton, and Herbert Howells, as well as new works by Jonathan Dove, James MacMillan, and more.
Founded in 2006, Clerestory is the Bay Area’s acclaimed men's vocal ensemble. The singers, from countertenor to bass, are veterans of San Francisco’s finest professional vocal groups, including Chanticleer, Philharmonia Baroque, American Bach Soloists, and others. They have been featured on National Public Radio and on San Francisco’s KDFC.
Tickets are $15 through Sunday, December 6 at 5 pm and $20 at the door.
